Here are some photos of Jimena when folks could finally get out of their homes after the storm passed. These were taken by Kim who was here with Mike and the kids on vacation...wow, they won't ever forget this vacation

It took five days for the water to go down so they could even start to think about getting out

The old girl (whale boat) now has a boyfriend...

...yep, she's still here!

It raged for days...you can get an idea of the wall of water that came through. Many of the homes were either destroyed or really damaged. The School needs to be rebuilt I'm told as well.

They used whatever they could to shore up the windows

The weather station was fully operational the entire time...a little worn for sure, but it wasn't a "Category Four", as the rock would have been gone.

These photos were taken out at one of the Ranchos yesterday (Monday, September 7th) by someone who Boozie gave her camera to take as it is impossible to get to some of these Ranches except on Quad at the moment.

They have been digging for two days to get this truck out

One dry bed left for the entire family

Water was everywhere

Their water supply is now destroyed. We are trying to get a pump out to the ranches with a generator to pump out the water and hopefully, the fresh water will come back in.

Complete destruction

They do have their spirit and faith...all the donations that you can send here to San Somewhere will make it somehow out to the people. Boozie has been doing a tremendous effort getting everyone organized, soliciting and "strong arming" anyone who will listen...and believe it or not, she has raised some serious cash donations in less than a week! The, "Ballena Award" goes to John at FusionStorm, whose generosity really put the cash in"fusion" to work.

Susan, you are an "Angel" for making that gift a reality!
